Controller/Analytical Services:

The CPA Next Door Controllership services are designed to help entrepreneurs make better business decisions. You don’t need a full-time accountant, but you may still need help beyond basic bookkeeping.

Payroll Services:

Payroll Processing: Have the option of processing payroll online, calling it in, email or fax. All reporting and custom reports included. We have the ability to do job costing and certified payroll as well.

Tax Service:  We file all taxes including payroll taxes, quarterly taxes and year end W2’s or 1099’s

Direct Deposit:  We can add unlimited amount of direct deposits for no extra charge. If we ship physical checks its $15 per delivery

Employee Self Service with Mobile App:  Employees can login online to their self-service portal or download our mobile app. From there they will have access to pay stubs, PTO balances, Time & Attendance, Benefit Information, the ability to make updates/changes and more

Garnishments:  We will send the money to the proper agency for any garnishments the employees may have

New Hire Reporting: Will help take care of new hire reporting including I-9 verification documents, W4, etc. We do NOT do E-verify on our small business platform

QuickBooks Online Integration:  Ability to integrate with QBO by exporting a file on our platform and importing into QBO

Bank Checks or Signing with Sealing:  The ability to write checks on their business account. Client has the ability to sign a laser signature form for signature to be printed on manual checks as well.

Enhanced HR:  Cloud based document storage. This includes any certifications, licenses, etc.

Benefit Essentials: We will build out the proper deductions to be withdrawn from employee’s paycheck showing employee contributions and employer contributions. We do NOT move the money. We can pull a report to show exactly how much they would need to pay their carrier.

Web Expense:  The ability to automate expense reporting by taking pictures or uploading receipts through a mobile app or self-service portal. This can be for reimbursement from a personal credit card that will flow to payroll and automatically list the category or deduction specified. This can also be from a company credit card and the expenses can be properly allocated to the right department or cost center.

Unemployment Service:  We use a 3rd party company called Employers Edge who will help assist in any unemployment claims against the company.

Web Time:  Our time and attendance system that flows seamlessly to payroll. Employees have the ability to clock in and out from a computer, tablet or cell phone. Includes Web kiosk where it takes a picture of the employee to eliminate buddy punching. Includes Geofencing where we can set up a perimeter using Google Maps specifying the exact parameters where they can clock in/out. Includes the ability to clock in at specific jobs, division, cost centers, departments, locations, etc.

GL Desktop integration:  The ability to integrate with any accounting desktop software. We help build out the clients own custom integration where we map out their chart of accounts to match. We can export a file from our platform and import the file into their system to eliminate manual journal entries.

Time Off Accruals:  We can add up to 5 policies that the company would like to track. This is all customized based on the companies PTO policies. Employees have the ability to submit PTO requests from our mobile app and self-service portal. Administrators can set up levels of approval. PTO approvals automatically will integrate with payroll and scheduling calendar to eliminate manual processes and double data entry.

Web Recruiting:  The ability to post jobs to multiple different platforms and manage it from ours. Review resumes, send email templates to set up phone or in person interviews, send offer letters, background checks and transition them to electronic onboarding. Includes free job postings to Indeed.

Web Onboarding:  Send the employee an email with a link prior to day one that will give them a list of tasks to complete. These tasks include I9 verification, signing off on company handbook, W4 wizard to help claim the right amount of dependents, etc. Once complete all this info will be stored in the cloud and seamlessly flows to payroll. Gives the employee a great first impression, eliminates storing manual documents on file, eliminates double data entry and makes admin’s life easier.

Performance Management:  The ability to manage employee’s performance including performance reviews, goal setting, journaling, proactive analytics to predict turnover before it happens, impressions and more. Helps better develop employees to determine promotion and raises.

LMS Online Training:  Learning Management system to help keep employees educated. This includes compliance training, continued educational development customized training, etc. This comes with many pre built templates but allows for the ability for the client to create their own as well. 

Employee Navigator:  A benefit admin system allowing for the ease of open enrollment. Employees can choose their benefit plans and this will automatically communicate with the carrier and our payroll system eliminating the need to update this information into payroll.
